Kerala Cashew Board Limited has been actively engaging with cashew-producing African countries for the direct import of Raw Cashew Nuts (RCN). Major global RCN traders are participating in KCB's tenders. Additionally, KCB is working on establishing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the government of Côte d'Ivoire for government-to-government RCN imports during the IVC season.

KCB is undertaking large-scale imports of Raw Cashew Nuts from countries such as Tanzania, Mozambique, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana, and Guinea-Bissau. To date, over 70,000 MT of Raw Cashew Nuts have been imported and supplied to state-owned cashew processing units of KSCDC and CAPEX.
